CURRENT PROJECT
($36 M, does not include design, right-of-way, environmental or utilities)
Will widened I-25 from four to six lanes between State Highway (SH) 52 and SH 119. The project is scheduled to begin in late October or early November and continue through December 2008.
UPCOMING PROJECT
Another project is in design and awaiting funding that will widen I-25 from four to six lanes between SH 119 and SH 66. It is anticipated that this project will go to bid in early 2007.
COMPLETED PROJECT
($73 M, included all costs)
Widened approximately seven miles of I-25 from just south of SH
7 to SH 52 and reconstructed the Weld
County Road 8 interchange. The Union Pacific Railroad overpass was also removed and the frontage roads were widened. Construction began in late November 2001 and was completed in early 2005.
